1. General Prohibited Items on Our Service
The following categories will be flagged by our system as unavailable for international purchase.
- Hazardous Materials : Spray cans, power banks, standalone lithium batteries, and other items classified as dangerous goods for air transport.
- Cosmetics & Liquids : All cosmetics and liquids, including but not limited to lotions, creams, shampoos, perfumes, and nail polish.
- Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices & Supplements : All health-related products, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicine, vitamins, protein powder, and all medical devices (including general medical devices and sanitary supplies such as contact lenses, massage devices, bandages, etc.).
- Weapons & Blades : Items that are weapons or could be considered weapons, such as outdoor knives, survival knives, decorative knives, and swords.
- Please note: Items that are clearly 'tools,' such as general kitchen knives or stationery scissors, are permitted.
- Precious Metals, Gemstones & Minerals : The following are prohibited:
- The four precious gemstones (Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds, and Sapphires).
- All products using Coral.
- Unpolished rough/unprocessed stones.
- Please note: Accessories made primarily of Gold, Platinum, Silver, Copper, Brass, Pearls, Amber, and other general semi-precious stones are permitted for sale.
- Age-Restricted Items : Alcoholic beverages, tobacco, e-cigarettes, adult goods, etc.
- Living Things & Plants : Live animals and insects, plants (including seeds, seedlings, and soil), and items restricted by CITES.
- All Food & Beverages : All food and drink for humans or animals, including snacks, seasonings, pet food, juice, tea, etc.
- Items Exceeding Service Limits :
- Size: Maximum length of 100cm for any single side, and a total of 200cm for the sum of the three dimensions (length + width + height).
- Weight: 20kg or less.
- Value: The total product price in your cart for a single transaction must be 300,000 JPY or less (this does not include our service fee or international shipping costs).
- Items We Cannot Handle Due to Our Service Model :
- Intangible Goods : Digital content (e.g., game codes), service subscriptions, event tickets.
- Items Not Immediately Shippable : Pre-order items, build-to-order products, items requiring personalization (like name engraving), crowdfunding items, and any other product that requires more than 10 calendar days to ship from the store.
- Items Requiring Recurring Payments : Subscription boxes, regularly scheduled deliveries.
- Items Requiring Special Eligibility to Purchase : Goods exclusive to members (e.g., fan clubs) or event attendees.
- Items with Unknown Contents : "Fukubukuro" (lucky bags), mystery boxes, or other random item assortments.
- Items That Cannot Be Clearly Identified : Products with insufficient information on their page.
- Products with Selectable Options : Items that require choices like color, size, or other customizations during the purchase process.
- Items with separate shipping fees : Products listed with "cash on delivery" for shipping.
2. Import Restrictions by Your Country
As a general rule, we welcome the sale of general used items, such as second-hand clothing and used books, which can be shipped to most countries without issue.
However, there are some important exceptions depending on the product category and the destination country:
- Antiques : In countries with very strict cultural property laws, such as China, Italy, and Greece, antiques (items over 100 years old) cannot be handled due to the high risk of being stopped by customs.
- Used Clothing : In a few specific countries, such as Brazil and Indonesia, the importation of used clothing is completely prohibited to protect local industries.
