Yes, there are. To ensure safe and legal international shipping, there are items that we cannot purchase or ship, as well as items that can only be shipped by a specific shipping method. These are determined by international law, carrier regulations, and the nature of our proxy service.
Please review both our general list below and your own country's specific import restrictions before ordering.
1. Items Available Only via Japan Post (EMS)
The following categories were previously unavailable, but can now be purchased as long as they are shipped via Japan Post (EMS). They can only be ordered when EMS is available for your country.
- Food (shelf-stable only) : Snacks, seasonings, dry foods, instant and canned foods, etc. Some food items remain prohibited — see Can you ship alcohol or food items? for details.
- Non-Alcoholic Beverages : Soft drinks, juice, tea, coffee, mineral water, etc.
- Cosmetics, Skincare & Hair Care : Lotions, serums, creams, liquid foundations, shampoos, body soaps, etc. (excluding the hazardous items listed in Section 2, such as aerosol spray cans, alcohol-based perfumes, and nail polish).
- Other Liquids : Aroma oils, inks, liquid detergents, resin liquids, etc. (excluding flammable liquids and other hazardous liquids listed in Section 2).
- Kitchen Knives : Kitchen knives and other blades that are clearly cooking or stationery tools.
2. General Prohibited Items on Our Service
The following categories will be flagged by our system as unavailable for international purchase.

Hazardous Materials : Spray cans (aerosols), power banks, standalone lithium batteries, fireworks, matches, gas lighters (including disposable and turbo lighters), fuels (gas cartridges, lighter fluid, lamp oil, etc.), and other items classified as dangerous goods for air transport.
- Please note: Wick-type oil lighters sold without fuel (such as Zippo-style lighters) and electric/USB arc lighters are permitted.

Flammable & Hazardous Liquids : Perfumes and fragrances with an alcohol base, nail polish and nail polish remover, lacquer paints, liquids that list alcohol/ethanol as an ingredient, and products containing peroxide (hair bleach, whitening agents, etc.).
- Please note: Non-alcohol (oil- or water-based) fragrances, pump-type (non-aerosol) sprays, and solid items such as nail tips and nail stickers are permitted.
- Alcoholic Beverages : All alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, sake, whisky, liqueurs, etc.), including food items with alcohol content.

Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices & Supplements : Prescription and over-the-counter drugs, herbal medicines, supplements (vitamins, protein powder, etc.), and regulated medical devices such as contact lenses, hearing aids, and blood pressure monitors.
- Please note: Everyday general goods such as adhesive bandages, gauze, eyeglasses and reading glasses, massage and beauty devices, fitness equipment, and body supporters are permitted.
- Sunglasses : All sunglasses, including fashion and sports sunglasses (classified as medical devices in some countries, such as the United States).

Weapons & Blades : Items that are weapons or could be considered weapons, such as outdoor knives, survival knives, decorative knives, and swords.
- Please note: Items that are clearly 'tools,' such as general kitchen knives or stationery scissors, are permitted (shipped via Japan Post EMS only). Toy and cosplay items clearly described as such (toy swords, airsoft guns, etc.) are also permitted.
- Tobacco & E-Cigarettes : Tobacco products, e-cigarette and heated-tobacco devices (VAPE, IQOS, glo, Ploom, etc.), cartridges, sticks, and e-liquids.

Adult Items : Explicit adult content (videos, magazines, etc.) and adult goods.
- Please note: Lingerie, swimwear, and age-rated games or movies without explicit sexual content are permitted.

Living Things, Plants & Quarantine Items : Live animals and insects; live plants (bonsai, potted plants, succulents, etc.), seeds, bulbs, soil and fertilizers; fresh flowers; processed meat (ham, sausage, bacon, jerky, salami), honey and bee products, and dairy products (cheese, butter, etc. — even if shelf-stable); specimens and taxidermy; and items restricted by CITES (ivory, tortoiseshell, reptile leather, fur, certain coral, etc.).
- Please note: Pressed/fully dried flowers, artificial plants, general cow/pig leather goods, processed down products, and finished wood products are permitted.

Precious Metals, Gemstones & Minerals : The following are prohibited:
- The four precious gemstones (Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds, and Sapphires).
- All products using Coral.
- Unpolished rough/unprocessed stones.
- Please note: Accessories made primarily of Gold, Platinum, Silver, Copper, Brass, Pearls, Amber, and other general semi-precious stones are permitted for sale.
- Tickets, Vouchers & Membership Cards : Event and transport tickets, theme park or facility passes, gift cards and vouchers (physical or digital), and membership or point cards.

Items Exceeding Service Limits :
- Size: Maximum length of 100cm for any single side, and a total of 200cm for the sum of the three dimensions (length + width + height).
- Weight: 30kg or less.
- Value: The total product price in your cart for a single transaction must be 300,000 JPY or less (this does not include our service fee or international shipping costs).

Items We Cannot Handle Due to Our Service Model :
- Intangible Goods : Digital content (e.g., game codes), service subscriptions, online lessons, and other items with no physical product.
- Items Not Immediately Shippable : Pre-order items, build-to-order products, items requiring personalization (like name engraving), crowdfunding items, and any other product that cannot be shipped by the shop within its required dispatch period.
- Items Requiring Recurring Payments : Subscription boxes, regularly scheduled deliveries, and other listings that assume recurring billing (one-time purchases of a single box are fine).
- Items Requiring Special Eligibility to Purchase : Goods exclusive to members (e.g., fan clubs) or event attendees, and listings reserved for a specific buyer.

Items with Unknown Contents : "Fukubukuro" (lucky bags), mystery boxes, or other assortments whose contents cannot be identified.
- Please note: Random-assortment items are permitted when the product type itself is clear (e.g., "T-shirt, random color" or "1 random badge out of 10 designs").
- Items That Cannot Be Clearly Identified : Products with insufficient information on their page.
- Products with Selectable Options : Items that require choices like color, size, or other customizations during the purchase process.
- Items with separate shipping fees : Products listed with "cash on delivery" for shipping.
3. Import Restrictions by Your Country
As a general rule, we welcome the sale of general used items, such as second-hand clothing and used books, which can be shipped to most countries without issue.
However, there are some important exceptions depending on the product category and the destination country:
- Antiques : In countries with very strict cultural property laws, such as China, Italy, and Greece, antiques (items over 100 years old) cannot be handled due to the high risk of being stopped by customs.
- Used Clothing : In a few specific countries, such as Indonesia, the importation of used clothing is completely prohibited to protect local industries.
