Items containing lithium batteries can be shipped internationally, but only if they meet the conditions set by postal services and shipping carriers.
When Shipping is Generally Allowed
- Batteries contained IN equipment: such as in smartphones, laptops, digital cameras, etc.
- Batteries packed WITH equipment: such as a camera packed with its spare battery in the same box.
When Shipping is Generally Prohibited
- Standalone lithium-ion batteries: power banks (mobile batteries), spare batteries sold alone, rechargeable hand warmers, etc.

- There are limits on the number of batteries and the battery capacity (Wh) allowed per package. These conditions also vary depending on the shipping carrier you choose and the destination country.
