If you receive a notification to pay customs duties from the customs office or the shipping carrier, please follow their instructions and complete the payment promptly.
For DDU shipments ("Customs duties and taxes may be charged separately upon delivery"), the recipient (importer) is responsible for paying any customs duties and taxes. If you chose a DDP option ("Customs duties: included"), duties are prepaid and you should not normally be charged again. Please be aware that if payment is not completed within the specified timeframe, the package may be returned to Japan or disposed of. If a package is returned because duties were not paid, this is treated as a return for a customer-related reason, and we are unable to offer a refund or reshipment.
⚠️ Please Note
- You can issue your own receipt (PDF) anytime from the "Invoice" button on your "My Order" page. If you need other documents to assist with the payment process, please contact our customer support.
- If you selected a DDP (duties prepaid) shipping option at checkout (available for some destinations, such as the United States) and were still asked to pay customs duties, please pay the charges to receive your package, keep the proof of payment, and contact our customer support afterward so we can investigate.
