This page explains the international shipping policies and procedures for Cross Cart We are a proxy purchasing service that buys products from Japan on your behalf and ships them to your international address.
Q. How long does delivery take?
A. The total time it takes for your order to be delivered is the sum of the following two periods:
1. Domestic Handling & Shipping Time This is the time it takes for the shop in Japan to ship your item to our domestic warehouse after you place your order. Shops have a set dispatch period to ship your item to our warehouse, which can vary and may sometimes take a few weeks. If your item does not arrive at our warehouse within the required period, your order will be automatically canceled and fully refunded.
2. International Shipping Time This is the time it takes from when we receive your item at our warehouse, repack it for overseas shipping, and ship it to you. This period varies depending on the shipping carrier you choose at checkout and the destination country/region. An estimated number of days will be displayed on the shipping method selection screen in your cart.
[Please Note] The estimated international shipping days are only an estimate and are not a guarantee. Delays may occur due to the destination country's customs clearance procedures or local postal situations.
Q. Which countries do you ship to?
A. We can ship to the following countries and regions (listed in alphabetical order):

Q. Can I track my order?
A. Yes, you can. When we ship your order from our warehouse, we will send you a shipping confirmation email that includes a tracking number. You can use this number to check the delivery status on the respective carrier's website.
Q. Who pays for customs duties and import taxes?
A. This depends on the shipping method you select at checkout. Some shipping options (for example, certain options for the United States) are sent under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms, meaning customs duties are prepaid and no additional payment is normally required. All other shipments are sent under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms, and any customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees that occur in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient (the customer). Please pay these fees according to your local regulations. If you selected a DDP shipping option but were still asked to pay customs duties, please pay the charges first to receive your package, keep the proof of payment, and then contact our customer support so we can investigate.
Q. Are there any items that cannot be shipped?
A. Yes, there are. To ensure safe and legal international shipping, we generally cannot handle items that fall into the following categories:
- Hazardous Materials (e.g., spray cans, power banks, perfumes)
- Alcoholic Beverages, Pharmaceuticals & Supplements, Tobacco & E-cigarettes, and Sunglasses
- Living Things & Plants (including seeds and soil)
- Certain Precious Metals & Gemstones (e.g., diamonds, coral)
